Alpha Five V11 Runtime by Alpha Software Inc. is a Windows-based deployment engine for running applications built with Alpha Five Version 11. It lets organizations distribute and execute completed desktop applications— including forms, reports, and Xbasic-driven workflows—on end-user machines without installing the full development environment.

Designed for reliable, cost-effective rollout, the Runtime enforces the application’s design as delivered by the developer. End users can run the app, enter and manage data, and produce outputs, but they cannot modify layouts, code, or database structures. Applications can connect to local data files or external SQL databases as configured by the developer, and can take advantage of security and other app-level settings defined during development.
